About the Young Advocates
The Young Advocates provides an opportunity for young professionals, ages 21-40, to participate in political, academic, artistic and social events that relate broadly to the topic of civil liberties and civil rights. The ACLU works on many of the issues that we care most about, and Young Advocates provides a forum for the next generation
of leaders to meet each other and to support that work through education, advocacy, fundraising and outreach.

On Friday, May 2, join the ACLU's Young Advocates for our signature event! ACLU 101 is a night of music, video, pop quizzes, food and drink at The Silver Room in Wicker Park. Catch up on what the ACLU is doing, tell YouTube what you want the next president to do for civil liberties, and take a pop quiz for a chance to win a prize. Friends, colleagues and old college roommates are all encouraged to attend!

Everyone is invited to attend our next Young Advocates planning meeting on May 20th at 5:30pm at the ACLU of Illinois offices. Please rsvp to youngadvocates@aclu-il.org if you would like to attend. We are always looking for help planning and running events.
