ACLU Student Activist Named Rhodes Scholar
November 20, 2007 05:15 AM

We note with pride that Andrew Hammond, a former leader in the ACLU of Illinois Chapter at the University of Chicago, was named as part of the 2007 class of Rhodes scholars this past Saturday. Andrew distinguished himself in leadership at the U of C, organizing students around critical federal issues and working hard to reach out to public high school students in the Hyde Park area with important informaiton about our Constitution. You can read about Andrew -- and the other U of C Rhodes Scholars -- at http://www-news.uchicago.edu/releases/07/071118.rhodes.shtml.
