Read more... read more » A Librarian Gives Compelling Testimony on Mandatory Filters March 16, 2007 On Wednesday, March 14th, the Illinois House Judiciary I – Civil Law – Committee approved and sent to the floor House Bill 1727, a measure that requires every public library in the State of Illinois to place clumsy, ineffective filtering software on every computer in their library.
