Coverage on the Religious Liberty and Marriage Fairness Bill

We mentioned yesterday that Representative Greg Harris of Chicago had filed the Religious Liberty and Marriage Fairness Act - House Bill 1615. The measure extends the protections and obligations of marriage to same-sex couples in Illinois, meaning that Illinois would join Massachusetts as the only state recognizing marriage for these couples.
